Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Too biased against Windows products   July 14, 2008

PC Magazine used to be a venerable publication covering PC issues, but it's now a thinly published monthly magazine featuring tons of pro-Apple and anti-Windows articles and "readers' letters." Every issue tells you to buy Apple products and trashes anything related to Windows. There're also very few in-depth reviews -- you're expected to visit their website for anything interesting. As a reader since the late 80s I'm very, very disappointed and disgusted.

1 out of 5 stars Digital PCMagazine subscription. Bad service   March 19, 2008

Contained: poor
System of reading: only discreet because it is impossible to save and to easily export an article
Assistance: very bad. After having seen the first number I was dissatisfied and I wanted to recede. I have tried to connect me to the service of assistance but it was not possible. I have sent therefore more than an email to the assistance and they have never answered

4 out of 5 stars Eh.   March 14, 2008

Took two months to receive my first issue, way too long in my opinion.

PC Mag is MUCH better than PC World as far as content. Give new fresh useful items and fulfills the role and update magazine should.

1 out of 5 stars Nearly useless these days   January 26, 2008

Irrelevant information, boring articles, and lousy product reviews. In its attempt to cover all areas that might interest its readers, it has became something useless to all.

1 out of 5 stars Light Reading   November 14, 2007

Change can be good; however, sometimes change can be very bad. Last year PC Mag decided to become a magazine for the masses instead of providing technical information for their longtime dedicated readers. Before the change this was a magazine that I would keep for a year or so to refer back to the content; now I can skim it in 5 minutes and don't feel there is a reason to keep it for any length of time. As a longtime subscriber (20+ years) I will not be re-subscribing to the magazine. I wish them luck, but I believe they have lost sight of their subscription base and are chasing a broader base of subscribers that might disappoint them.
