Amazon.com Father of five children, pop musician Kenny Loggins follows up 1994's highly successful Return to Pooh Corner with this More Songs collection. "Your Heart Will Lead You Home," the title track for Disney's animated Tigger Movie, leads off. Cowritten with Disney's legendary songwriting Sherman Brothers, "Your Heart" sets the tone for what is to come: a various-source compilation of clean, classic family fare in the tradition of The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, and Beauty and the Beast. "Flying Dreams," a ballad from The Secret of Nimh beautifully pairs the artist with Olivia Newton-John. Loggins's original "Always, in All Ways" tenderly champions unconditional parental love, and "That'll Do" from Randy Newman's score for Babe: Pig in the City is a welcome treat. "Turn Around" and "The Inchworm" sound a more nostalgic note, rounding out More Songs into a truly lovely collection. --Paige La Grone

Good play time CD June 23, 2008 Brandi Roberts (Thousand Palms, CA) I bought this b/c I liked the 1st one so well. I will say I do like the 1st one better, but this is good too. Some of the songs are very sentimental and are a great tribute to the feelings that a parent has for thier kids. All in all I would buy it again.
Great Follow Up April 13, 2008 Catherine Goltz (Washington DC) While not a big chart hit, Kenny was wise in doing a sequel to RETURN TO POOH CORNER. Now with a fifth child Hana Aluna he does a good job in singing his favorite Disney and movie songs are well as some original compisitions. Kenny is said to be working on a third children's album, a "parent's album disguised as a kids one".
Love Pooh Corner! November 28, 2006 A. Horn (Naperville, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this for our four-year old daughter after we borrowed it from the library and fell in love with it. The lyrics are very soothing and it calms her down for bedtime. It's also great for background music for her playdates...less fighting over toys! I've always liked Kenny Loggins, but this is one of his best!
Not just for little babies June 12, 2006 WV Disc Jockey 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As a professional deejay, I purchased this album because a father wanted to dance to "Turn Around" at his daughter's wedding reception. I fell in love with it myself. My babies are grown but I gave the album to my oldest daughter several months before she got married. As the flute on the opening track invites you to "count all the bees in the hive, chase all the clouds from the sky ..." and each song relays the sentiment to my older children that I would like to say to them myself. This album makes a great wedding gift, baby shower gift, graduation gift or for any occasion that you would like to let your children know they are loved and you're there for them.
Beautifully Soothing Complement to Return To Pooh Corner March 18, 2006 E. Haring 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I wanted this CD because I really like the song "Your Heart Will Lead You Home" that Kenny Loggins co-wrote and sang for the Tigger Movie. The imagery is simply beautiful. As I listened to the rest of the CD, I found that I especially liked Mr. Loggins version of one of the most comforting lullaby's BABY MINE and the song he wrote with Mark Mancina that sends a child off into the world with love ALWAYS IN ALWAYS. It is quite soothing. * This CD would be the "cool-down" after Return To Pooh Corner or a difficult day. Having lived with overtired two year olds before... * It is a great nursery gift * I could see giving this CD for the song Always in All Ways to the high school senior along with Dr. Seuss' Oh The Places You Will Go (in private of course! It is quite sentimental but alone in your room contemplating the amazing changes sentimental can be kind of nice) the night before he or she goes off to college. To me this CD is a part of the first CD not meant to completely repeat Return To Pooh Corner, but to complement it.
