I think it was be perfect for 14.1. My laptop is 13" so there was just a little end wrapped on one side. Put sticker on starting on one side. I wouldn't peel the whole sticker off first before placing it on the laptop. I would think that be harder to avoid bubbles. It was very easy to put on if you start on one side. I didn't follow the directions.

I am really enjoying this skin. I do not have to worry about finger prints on the surface of my computer and it looks very nice all the time. I would recommend it to anyone with a laptop computer.
