This product should no longer be sold as it takes an out of date operating system to work. This iformation was not disclosed in the online description and I did not find this out until I opened it which means that now I can not send it back.
Doesn't work with Vista! October 26, 2008

VERY old software version (can't believe they still sell it!) which won't work with Window's Vista. If we can dredge up an old computer running 95 (are there any left alive?), maybe we'll get it running. I should have read the info better!!!

We bought this program and it doesn't work in any of our computers. We have a Mac with Intel processor and our this does not work in our version of Windows. Complete waste of money.

I ordered this because Mavis Beacon is such a well known name in the typing world. I learned to type using Mavis Beacon adult programs, so I was excited to teach my 9 year old son how to type using the children's typing program. The program was absolutely horrible. I think I could have found better programs on the internet for free. We took the disk to the thrift store right away. The program assumes you already know how to type! It starts out with all the keys and doesn't even show fingering positions. How does that teach typing? I do not recommend this product to anyone. Try Typing Instructor. It's amazing.
