There's probably no demand for an Eighties book, so the good folks at Consumer Guide went backwards...and good for us. An outstanding compliment to the existing '50s '60s and '70s book, Cars of the Fascinating '40s stands along in telling a fast-paced tale of a whirlwind decade in American car building. The war-ear photography is a nice add. A must own for collectors of this series.

This book is not quite as informative as the "Cars of the Fabulous 50s" (from the same series), but it is filled with photographs of nearly every model of every car produced in the U.S. from 1940 to 1949. Great to look at over and over at night, memorizing the details of various cars. Nice gift, too.
