5 out of 5 stars Saved My pictures from extinction!   October 15, 2008

Works well! When I purchased a new computer I felt I'd lost the capability to use my floppy discs with pictures and information saved. Thank God I found this! Happy Me!
The service I recieved was prompt and up to my expectations.

5 out of 5 stars Well worth the bucks!   September 19, 2008

I recently realized I had some files that were still on floppy and that my new PC didn't have a 5.5" drive. This little jewel wasn't the cheapest external drive out there, but it carries a name I've grown to trust. The interchangable colors is nice and having the USB cable permanently attached is very comveniet. Some other companies don't even include the USB cable. Just plug it in and it works. It even shows up as your "A" Drive! How cool is that?!

5 out of 5 stars For All It's Worth - Comes In Handy   September 9, 2008

I of course had some old data sitting around on floppies. I really miss them - and you know why? Because they weren't so delicate as everything else is today, meaning you could slide one across the desk or throw one over type of thing etc.. But now - you certainly don't wanna throw anything around for fear of having it break or get ruined somehow. Also trouble shooters (which I'm not one of) talk about some repair maintenance diagnostic type of stuff programs and of course the old bootable can only be done with a floppy.... whatever that stuff's all about? But of course the bottom line is - if you need it, you need it - if you don't, you don't....

5 out of 5 stars Its True Plug and Play!   August 12, 2008
Lynn L. Reigle (Michigan, USA)
Took it out of the box. Clicked on its little stand and plugged into a USB port on the back of my computer and sat it down next to the left side of the computer and it fit perfectly into the small space I had for it.

The stand has REALLY sticky feet which keep the drive from sliding when you insert a diskette and the provided button makes it easy to pop it out.

The computer immediately recognized the drive and I have had no software conflicts with it.
